In order to do this we going to need to load up a bash console (like before) and open up Python.<\/p>\n<p>Now do the following:<\/p>\n<div class=\"arconix-list\" data-arconix-icon=\"fa-chevron-circle-right\" data-arconix-color=\"black\">\n<ul>\n<li>Open up a bash console<\/li>\n<li>Once inside the bash console type &#8216;python&#8217; and press enter.<\/li>\n<li>type print(&#8220;hello world&#8221;) and press enter. It should print &#8216;hello world&#8217;!<\/li>\n<li>to exit python, type<strong> exit()<\/strong> and press enter<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"arconix-box arconix-box-ltan\"><div class=\"arconix-box-content\">\n<p><strong>Activity 3<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>When we are programming we are going to be using Python 3, because it has more features and more future-proof than Python 2. \u00a0You can load python 2 instead by typing &#8216;python2&#8217; .
